Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our catering services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Catering Services

Grgich Family Catering provides BBQ catering services for weddings, corporate events, and private parties throughout the Central Valley, California. Our services include:

• Menu planning and customization
• Food preparation using our mobile kitchen
• On-site cooking and service
• Professional serving staff (when included)
• Equipment, plates, and utensils (when included)
• Setup and cleanup services

Booking and Deposits

• A signed contract and deposit are required to secure your event date
• Deposit amounts vary based on event size and are specified in your contract
• Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfill your booking
• Final guest count and menu selections are typically due 14 days before your event
• Final payment is due according to the terms specified in your contract

Pricing and Payment

• All prices quoted are estimates and may vary based on final selections
• Per-person pricing is based on the guaranteed guest count
• We serve a 50-mile radius from our Oakdale, CA base; travel fees (approximately $1–$2 per mile) may apply for events beyond 30 miles from our base
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
• A service charge may apply to credit card payments

Cancellation Policy

• 60+ days before event: Deposit may be applied to a future booking within 12 months
• 30-59 days before event: 50% of total contract value is due
• Less than 30 days: Full contract value is due
• We reserve the right to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control
• In such cases, all deposits will be fully refunded

Guest Count Changes

• Guest count increases are accommodated when possible with advance notice
• Guest count decreases may be limited based on your contract terms
• Minimum guest counts apply to certain packages
• Final guest count confirmation is typically required 14 days before your event

Food Safety and Allergies

• We follow California food safety regulations and best practices
• Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance
• While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment
• Guests with severe allergies should take appropriate precautions

Venue Requirements

• Client is responsible for securing appropriate venue permissions
• Adequate space for our mobile kitchen and serving area is required
• Access to the venue for setup must be arranged in advance
• We require access to water and electricity at the venue

Weather and Force Majeure

For outdoor events, we recommend having a backup plan in case of inclement weather. We will work with you to adjust setup as needed. In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with you to reschedule or provide appropriate remedies.

Liability

Grgich Family Catering maintains appropriate business insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the contracted services. We are not responsible for venue damages, guest injuries unrelated to our services, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Changes to Terms

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Stanislaus County, California.
